HotBox Hire Ltd, an Irish Family Run Business, based out of Dunshaughlin, Co-Meath for the whole of Ireland.

Derek and Daragh Gray took over their father’s family Plant Hire & Civil Engineering business in 1994, fifteen years ago. They started out contracting for large corporations and clients such as Eircom, which led them to branch out into working for the ESB and a large number of major building contractors.

The majority of the work both brothers completed successfully was carried out in Dublin and when working on the major national roads the company had to carry out this type of work at weekends and at night thereby reducing the impact on the general public but more importantly, always getting the "job done".

Dublin City Council banned the use of delayed set tarmadamdam (which is also banned all over the UK) a number of years ago and the brothers set about purchasing a hot box in order to continue their business which they found invaluable and felt it would be of huge benefit to anyone working with tarmacadam. This led the brothers who now saw a gap in the market to open HotBox Hire with their vision to hire out hot boxes on a self drive basis and become Ireland's No 1 HotBox Supplier.

3 years later the brothers are going strong and have grown their business with their two sisters as back up in the office. Their client base that now not only includes County councils hiring from them but large building contracting companies are strong clients too.
